I made these simple writing sheets to help Kindergarten students research a topic and write about it. After reading books and studying the topic on the internet with adult support, students can fill in the sheet with the 6 boxes or they can really take their time to work on a “research paper” as they answer each question on the individual writing sheets which can be compiled into one paper booklet once they are complete…simply choose the cover style that you prefer. I am giving you blank writing sheets (one color, and one black and white of each type of lined paper) so that you are not limited to the choices that I have for writing topics.
I added paper with lines from top to bottom at the end just in case you have students who are proficient enough to write more than just the amount allotted on the pages with the drawing boxes. Having these additional sheets can help you differentiate your expectations for the amount of writing expected by each student.
I have given you 2 different versions for the cover.
The clip art is the same on every sheet.
The sentences are can be found in 2 different formats. First, 6 of the sentences are listed on a single sheet of paper with 6 boxes. Second, the 6 sentences are placed on individual writing sheets with the addition of writing about your favorite thing about the topic.
Please view the miniature windows as you can get a good feel as to what the donwload contains. The only addition are the rest of the writing sheets in color and black and white containing the same sentences as those in the boxes.
