A-I-M Connect

Great product to use for guest speakers, videos, new lessons to help connect old information to the new information.

This is an association task to help the student go beyond just facts on topics they may have heard or may have an understanding of.

Students are introduced to the material and are asked to fill out the first column with whatever information they currently know about the topic. Then have them cover their answers with post-its. Then whatever video, presentation or lesson is taught and finished the students will fill out the second column to see how their answers have changed or their understanding has shifted. They will then compare the columns to see how their responses and understanding may have shifted and write it in the connect section in the bottom.

Teachers can use this as a means to discuss that day how their students have shifted their thinking. This can also be used next day as a warm-up recapping the information.
