Momma Koala Are You Listening?
Phonological Awareness depends on effective aural skills. The best predictor of early reading is the ability to hear, identify and manipulate sounds. This activity is a precursor to phonological skills. It focuses on attentive listening by providing emergent learners opportunities to focus and listen carefully to specific sounds in their classroom environment through game play.
