NYS ELA Module 1; Unit 1; Lesson 10
I added in an extra day to this module to allow my seventh graders to read the text, chapters 6-11. I felt the unit started to require more time in class on activities and that the students needed an additional day to read (re-read) the book. I created this worksheet with some reading response questions, a graphic organizer for gathering evidence and a spot for questions on vocabulary. It took one class period and all the students worked independently. It was a nice day that allowed me to grade the mid-unit assessment from Lesson 8.
