Text Evidence and Character Change project!
This project is designed to be used after the class has finished the book A Long Way from Chicago by Richard Peck (either as a read-aloud or whole-class study). This is a group project with individual accountability and student choice!
- select a question to respond to (i.e. "How does Joey's impression of his grandma change over time?")
- talk with their group about character complexities as shown through plot events
- find text evidence to back up their opinions
- create a presentation to share with the class
