This folder contains four brief essays on Robert Bolt;s play, A Man for All Seasons. There is a short biography of Bolt and another that looks into the time in which the piece was set with its social and religious upheavals. One essay looks at the allegorical significance of some of the characters and how their traits reflect some of the issues in the play. Lastly, there is a look at Thomas More and the notion of justice. These are literature essays that demonstrate the integration of text to assist analysis.
