I made these math sheets with Martin Luther King, Jr. for my students to practice their addition and subtraction skills in January for MLK Day or in February for Black History Month. This is a simple, 2 page download that I plan on copying back to back. These sheets can be used for differentiated instruction. I realized that if I left the rooftops empty, teachers could add whatever fact family numbers they wanted. Then I realized that I could have my higher learners think of their own numbers for fact families and create their own number houses. The first page is duplicated for teacher use and for higher level learners.
It can be used in first grade,or it could be used as a bonus activity for students in Kindergarten who have strong math skills and need higher level math.
Please view the mini windows so see the entire download. The only additional pages are the 2 answer sheets, and the blank houses for teachers to insert the 3 numbers (this sheet is exactly as the first sheet minus the numbers in the rooftops).
This product is part of a larger bundle pack that will save you $$$:
