“Kids aren’t getting enough cavities these days!” yelled a dentist at their annual dentist meeting. “How are we going to keep making money?”
The dentists put their heads together and came up with an idea. They decided they needed to create the best-tasting, longest-lasting, most-sugar-filled gumball any kid has ever tasted. “And the best part,” one dentist yelled, “these gumballs will be free!”
You have been given the task to oversee the packaging and storage of all of these gumballs. The gumballs need to be packed away in boxes of tens, hundreds, thousands, ten thousands, and hundred thousands. In order for the gumballs to be distributed in a timely manner so more kids can get more cavities, you want to store more than 24 boxes on the shelves. But, since space is limited, you can’t store more than 36 boxes for each of the different-sized boxes.
Until now, everything was going right, but now, someone must be questioning how hard you work. The dentists just brought in another supervisor to be in charge of packing and storing the gumballs. It’s you or the other person. One of you will be fired by the end. Be the first player to store enough gumballs for 3 out of the 5 different-sized boxes. This will prove to the dentists you are working hard enough to get more cavities in unsuspecting kids.
