I made these Muddy Pig Letters and CVC Words to go with my Fall Farms and wishy washy activities. You can use them in a variety of ways.…get creative and have fun!
Print, cut, and laminate. Get small, chocolate pudding cups (one per student). Pour the cup onto a paper plate and have the students (in a small group setting) write the alphabet letters or the cvc words in the “mud” with a popsicle stick.
You could also have students match the muddy cvc pictures to the pink pig cvc words. Use the ones with the words for students still learning how to read, and the ones without the words for students who can read cvc words (just write the word on the back with a pencil before laminating so that students can self-check).
The last sheet is full of empty mud so that you can write in words that you want your students to practice.
Please download the Free Preview as the entire download can be seen there (minus the black lines). The download will be clearer than the Free Preview.
I have included two "bat" words. This is not a typo. I wanted my students to see that "bat" has different meanings.
