Pg. 4 Roll and Spell – roll the dice and write your spelling words 3 times – the number on the dice will tell you to use either a crayon, marker, pencil, pen, colored pencil, or your choice!
Pg. 5 A Musical Day Sequence of Events – read the sentences about A Musical Day and put them in sequential order
Pg. 6 Color the Clusters with “l” – look at the crayon colors and the “l” cluster next to them – look on the drum picture and read the “l” cluster words – color each part of the picture with the matching crayon
Pg. 7 Statements – a foldable book that let’s you practice writing statements
Pg. 8-9 A Pocket Full of Adjectives – this little foldable book will be a wonderful help when trying to find better adjectives to write in your thank you notes – follow the picture directions
Pg. 10-13 Thank You! – learn how to write thank you notes while thanking the people in your school who go the extra mile – use your Pocket Full of Adjectives for better adjective choices
Pg. 14 -18 Let’s Make a Guitar! –a twist on the classic game of Cooties – 2 to 4 players – roll the dice to add to your guitar (like the ones the children made in our story) – pick up the word card that matches the number on your dice, read it, place it on your game board – if you read it incorrectly put in back in the pile and it’s the next players turn – if you roll a number that you already have – you lose your turn – the winner gets all the pieces to their guitar first – can be laminated
Pg. 19-28 I want to learn how to play the _______! – writing project – choose an instrument that you would like to learn how to play and explain why you like that instrument, Do you think it will be easy or difficult to learn? – How will you learn how to play it?
Pg. 29-30 What Would You Put In Aunt Viv’s Bag? – a fun creative writing and craft project – write about what you would put in Aunt Viv’s bag, illustrate it!
