This is a great activity to start of your National Hispanic Heritage Month which runs from September 15th to October 15th. Have students create one of the flags representing a Hispanic country. I am including a homework letter just in case you'd prefer to send this activity home. This can be used in your own classroom as a center, or as a whole group activity as you teach your students about the multitude of countries that have given us our fabulous Hispanic Americans! This could easily be made into a contest for your classroom or for your entire school!
Please view the mini windows to get a good feel of the download. It is in color only. It is in English. The individual flags are meant to be displayed on your computer as you read them to your class, although you can print the sheets out. The countries are grouped by their location, and each country's flag is displayed like Cuba's flag in the small window.
