When Brad created the video "A Pep Talk from Kid President to You,"
we had no idea it'd be seen by over 41 million people. That video sent us on a whirlwind adventure, but also had us asking what happens if you already made your Space Jam? Big is not always better! Big events are made up of small moments. Students will see how they can have and show hope, love, and joy through small actions. It only takes a moment to have a momentous effect.
This lesson plan was created to accompany our video "A Pep Talk About A Pep Talk" which is available to stream at no charge on YouTube
and the Montague Workshop Facebook page
Brad Montague is a writer, director, and father who believes if kids and grown-ups work together, they can change the world. He is the creator of Kid President—the popular web series featured on SoulPancake’s YouTube channel—which he developed after being inspired by the young world changers at an annual summer program he and his wife, Kristi, founded. The two of them, together, make up Montague Workshop, working to cultivate empathy and imagination in kids and former kids through the power of stories.
