This is a fun worksheet for the Christmas season where students practice their skills multiplying polynomials (monomial x monomial) on a Christmas tree. They start at the bottom of the tree and work their way up, writing answers in triangles as they go. The final answer goes at the top of the Christmas tree. The only way to get the correct answer at the top of the tree is to have correct answers in all the other triangles. The monomials have both small whole number and fraction coefficients, negative and positive.
I like to give candy to the first few students who get the correct answer at the top of the tree, since Middle School students love competition!
The answer key is included.
