Product Description

These notes introduce Lorraine Hansberry's play, A Raisin in the Sun, and guides students through a study of the play. The notes do more than explain plot events, but they encourage critical thinking about theme analysis, as well as building on characterization, use of symbols, and contextual connections to history. These were designed for use in an AP Lit or upper level ELA or American Literature course. These notes align with my A Raisin in the Sun unit test. The slideshows are available in both PowerPoint and PDF and are editable.
