This bundle includes everything you need to teach A Raisin in the Sun to your AP Lit or upper level ELA/American Lit students. This no-prep unit includes an anticipatory activity that studies Langston Hughes' "Harlem" and Martin Luther King, Jr.'s "I Have a Dream." It also includes 52 slides of notes that guide students through the study of A Raisin in the Sun, as well as helping them identify the play's themes and gather evidence for them. It includes a handout for brainstorming and gathering evidence for theme formation. The unit culminates in a challenging 50-point editable test, including multiple choice, quote analysis, and an essay section reflecting on the unit-long theme analysis.
