This assignment is a fun way to teach or review research skills, as well as have students practice their speaking and listening skills. Students choose a person to research and then write a 1-2 page (can be shorter to modify!) biography from first person point of view. The goal is not to use names or overtly give away who they've researched. When the project is completed, students take turns reading what they've written while the class tries to guess who they chose to research.
Students have a blast with this and it's a great way to touch on many standards!
