Have your students explore the allegory of "A Rose for Emily" in this two day mini unit! On the first day, the students will work through basic comprehension questions and work their way up to analyzing the allegorical elements of the story. On the second day, students will explore literary devices within the text BESIDES allegory, then do a discussion of the text, and end with an extended writing prompt.
