In this activity, students watch the film A Streetcar Named Desire over 3 class periods and work on this packet while they watch. They are required to analyze the characters and comment on whether the characters looked/acted/sounded like what they thought they would and provide an explanation. Then they analyze the setting, music, light and shadow presented in the film. Also, they note differences they noticed. This meets Common Core standards of using more than one medium for studying a piece of literature.
