This is a little collection of items to supplement your own Mother Goose Unit. Contained in this collection are the following items, which I used numerous times with my pre-school students in accompaniment to their classroom Mother Goose lessons:
"Mother Goose Stories" simple sheet music to the sweet song that opened our Mother Goose parents' program
"Mother Goose Stories" an mp4 file of this short, sweet program opening song
"Jump Jack" an mp4 file of this very jazzy new rendition of the old favorite rhyme. This song is full of energy and sure to get the jiggles out. We often played this song on the classroom smartboard during those sub-zero indoor recess winter days and the pre-k students sang and danced along with very big smiles.
"Peter Piper" an mp4 file of this very jazzy new rendition of the old favorite rhyme. This happy, bouncy song has a similar joyful effect on a classroom as the song above.
"This Little Piggy" an mp4 file of this very jazzy new rendition of the old favorite rhyme. This song has a "la di da di do ya" part that is very fertile soil for very clever, creative, unique, individual pre-school student choreography. My students loved this song best!!
A short, simple 5 page script that highlights a few MG(Mother Goose) rhymes and songs, with a very easy recitation/choral reading at the beginning and at the end.
For our parents' program, we created MG artwork to display, dressed as MG characters for the program, and served MG snacks in our MG art gallery following the program. It was a delightful event.
