Product Description
This group artistic and analytical project can be completed at the end of reading Charles Dickens's novel "A Tale of Two Cities".

Essentially, students will demonstrate their awareness of character types and purposes in the novel by showing the way the characters would function within a different metaphorical structure.

What if, for example, all of the characters had to be parts of the human body? Where would each character belong, and how would each contribute similarly to the workings of the whole system?

This is an opportunity for creativity and textual extension. Students tend to love this project, and I have seen some incredibly interesting responses: Nintendo characters, Pokemon characters, NFL sports teams, etc.

The sheet comes with some examples and explanation, and also a scoring rubric.
