Revision exercise disguised as a fun activity.
Students are asked to find 25 words important in Charles Dickens' A Tale of Two Cities. In addition to finding the words, they are asked to write a new sentence for each word which explains its significance in the text. Words used are primarily character and place names.
This is a good summary activity which students enjoy. It could be used as a homework assignment or as a filler exercise in class if you have nothing else prepared.
