A Thanksgiving Pattern Blocks Book

This is a pattern block book activity mainly created for use with a Thanksgiving theme but could easily be used as part of a unit on early American history as well. The pattern block puzzle pictures include Pilgrims, Squanto, the Mayflower, crops, and friends (Pilgrims and Native Americans together). The file also contains printable text and suggestions should you choose to use these in a book format.

Being a very versatile craft, this Thanksgiving book activity could be used to create a book for an individual child or used as a team/class project. It could be used for seat work or be included as part of math or literacy centers. A book could be created from the files or the pattern block pictures could be used separately.

There are two types of files contained in the folder - PSD and PDF. (If you prefer to use Photoshop, you will want the PSD ones.)

Age levels suggested: Pre-K, Kindergarten, First, Second.
