Tickety tock, tickety tock! It’s time to learn about the clock! Teaching my kids how to tell time is one of my favorite units! The activities in this unit were created to address the following Common Core Math Standard for first grade:
1.MD.3. Tell and write time in hours and half hours using analog and digital clocks.
**The common core standards indicate that the students will tell and write time to the hour and half hours using analog and digital clocks. With this being the first “official” introduction to time (kindergarten common core standards do not incorporate this topic), this packet will include activities for telling time to the hour ONLY. (A Tickin’ and a Tockin’ Part 2 will be coming soon and I will include time to the half hour).
