Product Description
This is a game designed to be played either with the entire class divided into teams or with a small group. Each student should have his/her own dictionary. The teacher will tell them what they have to look for (the meaning of the word, the part of speech of the word, or another form of the word). The teacher will then either say the word and spell it for the students or say and write it for them. Students search for the word, and raise their hand (or buzz in) when ready to answer. If the answer is right, the team gets a point, and the team with the most points wins.
I used the Merriam-Webster's Elementary Dictionary to make this game, but any elementary student dictionary should be fine.
