I made these Washing Tubs and Bubbes: CVC Words to go with my Fall Farms and wishy washy activities. You can use them in a variety of ways.…get creative and have fun!
Print, cut, and laminate.
I borrow silver, deep tubs every year from my school cafeteria.
I use my plastic magnet letters (but any water proof letters would work) and children’s bubble bath so that my students can actually wash the alphabet letters and cvc words in the “tubs”.
You could also have students match the cvc pictures to the bubble cvc words. Use the ones with the words for students still learning how to read, and the ones without the words for students who can read cvc words (just write the word on the back with a pencil before laminating so that students can self-check).
The last sheet is full of empty tubs so that you can write in words that you want your students to practice.
Please download the Free Preview as the entire download can be seen there (minus the black lines). The download will be clearer than the Free Preview.
I have included two "bat" words. This is not a typo. I wanted my students to see that "bat" has different meanings.
