If you have a Smartboard and you teach preschool or kindergarten – then this is the product for you!
I have created a week of Smartlessons for each letter of the alphabet.
Each lesson is displayed on the Smartboard so students can “see” what you want them to do.
They can interact with the pages by highlighting the letters, writing the missing letters, tracing the letters, etc., all on the Smartboard before they are asked to do it on their own.
All are common core aligned and are displayed on the Smartboard and on the pages that the students complete and take home to share.
These packets are great for letter introduction and review.
The first slide allows you to show letter formation and students then practice on the Smartboard using your smart pen selection.
There is a homework document, a mini book with one picture on each page that begins with the featured letter, a book which practices the beginning sound using picture clues and repetitive sentences. A third book allows students to see and practice correct letter formation. The fourth book combines writing the capital and lowercase letter and reading two sentences using the pictured word.
Each week also includes an accordion book, and an assessment document. To complete the accordion book, give each child a folded sentence strip and let them highlight, color, cut, glue, and read the mini book to you.
A complete week at your fingertips ready to go.
It is simple, quick; it uses the technology that you have in your classroom to enhance Language Arts and reading instruction, remediation, or enrichment.
It is a week all bundled into one zipped file ready for you to use in your classroom.
