Description

This extension activity for Madeleine L'Engle's novel, A Wrinkle in Time, includes two fun activity sheets based on Mrs. Who's quotes. In the novel, Mrs. Who got her points across by reciting quotes. This activity asks students to interpret those quotes and relate them to the story.

Each of the two worksheets presents a number of quotes used by Mrs. Who in the story. Students are then asked to tell what each one means in their own words and next to tell what each one means in the context of the story.

These activities support a number of the reading and writing standards.

The Easel version is ready to use with directions and answer boxes for students.
