A Wrinkle in Time by Madeline L’Engle
Chapter-by-Chapter and Whole Book Objective Tests
This 25-page resource for Madeline L’Engle’s 1963 Newbery Award book is a series of objective tests THAT CHECK FOR BASIC STORY COMPREHENSION. .
The quizzes cover the novel chapter-by-chapter and also include a whole book test. Students will find it necessary to read the material carefully and thoroughly for FACTUAL CONTENT in order to score well on these tests.
The questions, (multiple choice, true/false, yes/no, and matching style), DO NOT require story interpretation nor do they address elements of literature. Their purpose is to encourage students to engage in thoughtful reading and build the foundation for progression to the higher level thinking skills.
These pages stand alone and work nicely as WHOLE-CLASS DISCUSSION GUIDES, SMALL-GROUP OR INDEPENDENT READING GUIDES, LITERACY CENTERS, HOMEWORK, CONFERENCING TOOLS, and a MANAGEMENT RESOURCE for checking student progress.
Full answer keys are included.
