Print and GO!
This is an easy to follow set of printables to use for morning or independent work. There is a printable for every letter (two versions for Kk included). Students start by practicing the formation of the letter and then help a character get through the picture maze (eg. ‘Help the pig find his way back to the barn’) by only colouring pictures beginning with the letter. This will show you your students’ ability to apply their alphabet knowledge.
After they make it through the picture maze, they must identify the letter and then write some of their own. Once you have introduced this work to your class, they should be able to work through the activities independently while you are busy with small group work. Perfect!
