Teaching students to critique art
So this is for junior high to high school level art class, or any class where you'd like to teach students to hone their visual observation skills. (For example, a lot of police departments train detectives by having them learn to critique art.)
The packet takes the students through 7 pieces of art, which they are encouraged to digest visually on their own, quietly for at least a few minutes before answering the questions or having a class discussion.
