Get your littlest researchers engaged with this A to Z Animal Research Project. The project includes a quick and easy research page for 25 different animals: one animal for each letter of the alphabet minus the “X”.

The research page has a map perfect for coloring in the animal’s range, a question about the animal’s habitat, one about what the animal eats, and an opportunity to share one interesting fact about the animal. The final copy is a 27 page, half-a-sheet, booklet that can be stapled along the left margin with a report cover and an easy bibliography.

The twenty-five animals included in this project are anteaters, black bears, cobras, dragonflies, eels, flamingos, gila monsters, hammerhead sharks, iguanas, jaguars, kangaroos, lemurs, meerkats, newts, octopuses, panda bears, quails, rhinoceroses, sea horses, tigers, vampire bats, walruses, yaks, and zebras.

As a bonus, the download includes BOTH a lined and unlined research format to best meet your students’ needs as well as a blank page if you would like to write in your own animal!!

Be sure to check out the Preview to see an up close and personal look at the project.

Happy Researching :)
