"A to Z Character Cookies" is a letter recognition and character education game.
Objectives: Students will be able to write the correct words on the game boards. Students will be able to match alphabet manipulatives to letters on a game board. Students will be able to use letters to form answers related to how to show good character.
Materials: Use the game boards presented in this packet to play A to Z Character Cookies. Additional materials may be added, such as: photocopying the letter sheets in this packet, alphabet manipulatives, dry erase markers and erasers, and plastic sleeves to hold game boards.
Overview: The game boards are designed to look like cookie sheets. There are several ways to proceed. Photocopy the letters and cut apart the circles to make the cookies, use alphabet manipulatives from your own collection, or use plastic sleeves and dry erase markers to write the letters. The object of the game is to answer the character questions and match the game pieces to the letters on the game board.
