Editions
There are two editions of “A to Z: Cultural Perspectives in Education”:
1) In A to Z: Cultural Perspectives in Education (Elementary Education Edition) the names of citizens in all the countries in the world that begin with a given letter of the alphabet are presented.
2) In A to Z: Cultural Perspectives in Education (Higher Education Edition) ‘A to Z’ is used to aid high school and university level students in searching out the names of researchers and famous individuals found in the field of ‘culture and education’. I have given quotations from their work which I hope students will find inspirational. I have provided the sources of these works in the reference section of the book as a means of allowing students an opportunity to easily locate the entire work.
3) Both editions include masterpiece illustrations prepared by a grade 12 student, Kim Seon Min. Her art is truly inspirational! Her talent is a wondrous gift!

A to Z: Cultural Perspectives in Education may be…
• a welcomed addition to any classroom reading corner or school library
• used as a visually stunning teaching aid in any ‘multicultural’ unit of study
• taken apart and each page lamented and used for an incredible multicultural wall display
• displayed as an incredible book produced by students and educators working together
• used to incite class discussions on ‘multiculturalism’

Comments
“Working together – Principal and Student – we have prepared what we hope is a rewarding reading experience. Our overall objective was to combine the simplicity of the alphabet – A to Z – that we all learn as children with the complexity of cultural perspectives in education as seen through the eyes of a child/student who is enrolled in a multicultural learning environment. Our goal was to present our findings in a visually appealing fashion with thought-provoking text.”
-Vaughan M. Blaney and Kim Seon Min
