Description

This is a low-tech AAC starter kit for students who are non-verbal or have limited verbal expressive language. Students with communication needs benefit from visual supports to when functionally communicating. My AAC starter kit for Special Education & students with Autism is perfect for students needing to improve their ability to greet, request items, make comments, initiating questions and more! I used these tools with my moderate-severe students on the autism spectrum, but can be used with any student who is non-verbal. I worked with k/1st grade and 2nd-3rd. This helped my students who did use words to begin to create more novel utterances with LESS prompts and expanding their communication functions (greetings, protesting, commenting, showing affections, requesting more, giving opinions, etc).

********This is a winzip file. You need a unzipping software to access all of the files. Please do not buy this resource if you already own my Behavior Visuals For Students With Autism as part of this resource already has that in this resource and you will be spending extra money.**********
