Trying to get those 200 opportunities per day for your aac users to practice? While most practice should be natural contexts, many students need additional structured practice. This set for practicing sequencing of communication symbols for aac users or those with limited language focuses on pronoun + verb sequences, with 40 practice action pictures.
I have often had students who needed additional practice making phrases in their communication systems, beyond what they got in natural contexts. So, I have always had a collection of pictures of people doing things that they could use to practice saying what they see.
This is the 2nd set of pronoun+verb pictures for practice.
Set 1 can be found here
In the classroom or other contexts, provide lots of practice with people in the environment, to generalize the skill and make the question of ‘who is doing what’ more meaningful.
Hopefully, your students have sufficient vocabulary in their aac systems to use in every day experiences.
A 32-location practice communication board is also provided here.
