Description

We all know the power of play, but if you're struggling to integrate play with a functional communication system for your students, then look no further! These easy print and go AAC play-based communication boards are specifically for Bubbles and Balls - two big hits in almost every early intervention, preschool, special ed and SLP setting. Engage your students using visuals to support their language and with 3 different boards for each activity, you can cater for different skill levels (22, 32 and 36 icon boards).

NOTE: This product is part of my $$ saving Play-based AAC Board BUNDLE.

Do not purchase this product if you already own the bundle.

It doesn't matter if you want to use these individually or in groups because you can either print multiples of one style of board, or have different children using different boards that cater to their AAC level... the best part is, it will all revolve around the same activity. These boards can be used with a large population including children with ASD, language delays, global development delays and even apraxia. If you are thinking that these boards might be too complex, then you can always start with the 9 different choice strips that includes language such as "I want..", and "first-next-then" before you build them up to the boards.

The play-based communication boards all contain a mixture of vocabulary including: nouns, verbs, adjectives, prepositions, pronouns, social comments and questions. This can pave the way for combining vocabulary into 2-4 word sentences (or more). If you're not sure how to do this, I have included lists for each activity and categorised them into Noun+Verb, Verb+Adjective etc.

An extra page is provided so that they can be cut individually and used as Velcro based choice boards to start at a more basic level and teach concepts separately before you build up to the use of the boards.
