This is a Rec & Leisure lesson for one of my AAC classrooms (middle/early high school). The students are emergent communicators, most of whom are using LAMP. The goal is to get them to engage with each other and the lesson as well as learn to request new reading material that interests them and asking others to read to them. They attend well to videos and need frequent opportunities to request, direct actions, and practice.
Included are video models of someone using AAC to request choose a book and ask someone to read to them. Additionally, it is a 1st-person video model using an AAC device, which is EBP when teaching students who need high level of support. Videos hyperlinked to vimeo.

Visuals show people's names stored under "follow" in LAMP, as this is commonly where names are stored, but not in all cases.
