Description

This interactive AAC story unit was designed to provide fun, thematic activities to stimulate language development and interaction for AAC communicators. The product makes use of SymbolStix symbols, which are found on many of the popular AAC iPad apps. The unit consists of a story (with guidelines for 3 levels of difficulty), corresponding communication boards, a cut and paste sentence builder (2 variations) and a homework sheet (colour and black and white options provided).

Contents:

Page 1-2: Instructions for use
Page 3-4: Story guidelines
Page 5-19: Story
Page 20-21: Communication boards
Page 22-25: Cut and paste activities (2 levels of difficulty)
Page 26-27: Homework sheets (colour and black/white options)

The product is also useful in typical language therapy for children who need a bit more structure, or mixed groups that contain natural speakers and AAC communicators.
