I use this book as part of my Dr. Seuss unit. We work on it all through March. It follows the theme from Dr. Seuss' book. There is a page for each letter of the alphabet whcih includes a heading (Big A, little a, what begins with A?), space for an illustration, 3 primary writing lines, and ends with (A, A, A!) We brainstorm words that begin with each letter before we work on that page. This is an excellent opportunity to practice writing sentences and to be a bit silly too!
Print the cover on cardstock and run the pages front to back for a project that could be used for morning work or incorporated in many other ways!
