Teachers and Educational Assistants working with students who have behavioural needs and/or who are physically violent should be documenting this information by means of a Antecedent Behaviour and Consequence Chart. This type of charting helps in the tracking of behaviour that will aid in program planning, IEP development, and provide parents and administration with vital information regarding the student and their needs. It is a means of functional behavioural assessment for the teacher.
