This resource contains a letter puzzle for each letter of the alphabet. all the letters have a full color as well as a black and white version. Here is what each puzzle contains:
-5-7 pictures that begin with the letter of the alphabet to help build vocabulary and letter sound relationships.
-Each picture is labeled with the word to increase your student/child's print awareness.
-Each picture is also numbered. This allow for number recognition and counting practice.
-When the numbers are followed, it helps the child learn how to form the letters. It helps expose them to the correct letter formation.
-A header with the letter shown in upper and lower case as well as showing how the upper case letter is formed.
This resource can be used in many different ways. It would be great to laminate and use Velcro to make reusable puzzles in centers or small group. You can trace each letter and have students/children glue down each piece into a letter knowledge notebook. They can also just simply glue them on construction of paper to display for a cute letter of the week project. If you combine them with an additional letters you can see how your students identify and sort words based on the letter identification knowledge. There are so many ways to use them.
