This file contains 144 cards for students to practice ordering letters in the alphabet. There are 3 levels of play to this center. The first level has the last letter missing on the card. The second level has the first letter missing on the card and the third level has the first letter missing on the card. There are 2 sets of cards, lowercase and uppercase letters.
Print the cards out and laminate them. Place selected cards on a cookie sheet. Students find the missing letter from a set of magnetic letters and place it on the card. I have used this as a center in my room for years. The students enjoy finding the missing letters.
If you print this on regular paper, then the magnetic letters will stick to the cookie sheet. I use both capital and lowercase alphabet letters in my classroom. Place different cards on different cookie sheets. Once students are finished finding the missing letters, they can switch cookie sheets with someone in their group.
