This product includes 4 sets of cards with holiday themed words. Each set includes 24 words for students to put in ABC order.
You can use these activities in a variety of ways:
As a center activity during guided reading rotations. I give the cards out for individual students or partners with a recording sheet and depending on the group level a follow-up worksheet.
For early finishers or as a center on a winter fun activity day.
As a whole group activity – we work together to sort the words. I pass out cards to students and have them work to put themselves in ABC order.
I print the cards on cardstock with color ink. Laminating the cards will of course improve their durability.
