This is a class set of 4 activity sheets for introducing the concept of ABC order. The first two pages ask students to place a few letters in ABC order. The third and fourth activity sheets are best introduced after students gain a sense of comfort and familiarity with the concept of ABC order, For these pages, students are required to place words in alphabetical order. The pages are intended to completed in numeric order since the first page is the simplest and the last page is the most challenging. An alphabet is displayed above every workspace on the activity pages for easy student reference.
-4 “What is the Order?” activity pages
-4 cutout pages with letters or words to be placed in ABC order (one for each activity page)
-Allow students to place foam letters or alphabet stickers in ABC order as an alternative to the paper letters included in the packet.
-Create your own letter/word cutout pages to use these pages again and again.
-Provide additional support by allowing students to highlight the letters they are sequencing on the alphabet displayed above each problem.
