Practice putting words in ABC order with your students.
The words are typed onto bones because I use them with "Henry and Mudge: The First Book" from the first week of the second grade Journeys program. Words are short a and short i words.
Sheets are designed to cut into strips with five words on each strip. You can also cut all of the words apart and have students draw 5-6 words from a cup.
Students can then write the words in ABC order on another paper. Some sheets have a few words that begin with the same letter. The last sheet is strips of three words with all the words beginning with the same letter.
A spreadsheet is provided to write the words in the correct order. I copy, cut, and staple the pages together into a mini book to continue practicing ABC order. You can print extra pages to do more ABC activities for as long as you need to!
