Simple Game Board Design-
To create the game teachers will have to
1. Print game board -
2. Cutout and paste together the two halves.
3. Cut out the ABC fish.
The object to this game is simple you can use it to teach students their abc's -large and small letters - or you can use it as a means for you to work on their vocabulary.
** You will also need a die - I personally use a die with only 3 numbers and a star. I use the star as a 4.
The object of the game is that the students go around the board. The game ends when the first student goes past the finish triangle
However, that student does not necessarily win.
To win - the students must count the fish they caught.. The student with the most fish wins...
To catch a fish the student must land on "a pick a fish triangle" and say the letter and give a word.. teachers and students must insure that no word has already been said before... since students can catch fish with the same letter on it.
example: T = tiger
the next student can not say tiger.
Note if the game is played again then the word tiger can not be used on the next game...
**For advance players have the students write each word that is said.
