Post the owls around the
room for students to find. Students will write the words from each owl in a box on the student re-cording sheet. Then students will cut out the word boxes and glue the words in ABC order.
Center Version 1:
You can post 1 set of owls at a time starting with the 1st set and building in difficulty (alphabetical order to the 2nd and 3rd letters).
Center Version 2:
You can also use the sets of owls as differentiated centers, posting the easier owls and assigning the easier owls to your lower group of students. Then assign the harder owls to students in need of a challenge. Owls are color coded so you can tell one group to do the green owls while another
group does pink.
