Kurt’s Letter Mosaics
These are a great supplement to all the letter art you do with your kids. It’s a great introduction to the letter. It also incorporates letter strokes, math, shapes and fine motor coloring skills.
My students love these letter mosaics.
1. They count each shape and fill in the amount next to the shape in the upper right hand corner.
2. Then they color in the mosaic. I ask them not to repeat colors next to each other (”a red should not touch another red”)
3. They the draw a picture of something that starts with that letter
4. Next, they practice the letter on the bottom line.
