This interactive Growth Mindset lesson illustrates—in a very visual way—how different degrees of ability, effort, and attitude affect a person’s learning, for better or worse. Students will “see” how sustained effort and a positive attitude when completing challenging tasks often results in effective learning while the opposite tends to be true when effort and attitude are poor. Through effective discussion at the conclusion of the activity, students will have a better understanding of the important roles both effort and attitude play in their own learning. This is a great activity to foster students’ understanding of the Growth Mindset concept!
