This fun sorting activity provides 72 animal cards to sort into 6 different habitats including the rainforest, desert, ocean, river, mountains, and forest. Sorting mats are in a half-page format. All materials are included in color and black and white formats. This language building activity aligns to science standards. It also aligns to the ABLLS-R Assessment and Curriculum objective B19.
To make checking this activity easier, I included a second set of cards with small symbols that match a small symbol in the corner of each sorting mat.
